GYN Closed- A Message From Dr Carpentier

Dear Patient: After over 40 years in medicine, 30 of those years at Dowd Medical Associates, I am writing to tell you of my plan to retire. The effective date of my retirement will be October 31, 2022, at which time I will no longer be able to treat you. As you know, Linda Fallon, NP accepted a new position in March 2022. Additionally, Kimberly Angelini, DNP will soon be on maternity leave. I am collaborating over the ensuing months with practitioners at Nova Womens’ Health in North Reading and Burlington Obgyn Associates in Burlington to provide you with professionals that I trust to care for you. These include: Anju Nayar MD, FACOG; Yoon Cho MD, FACOG; Julianne Scott DO; Heather Love MD, MPH; Kelly Pastor PA; Jennifer Aruda NP; Melissa Outerbridge NP. You can learn more about their experience and expertise on their websites. Appointments can be made on their websites or by calling: Nova Women’s Health 987-664-5979 21 Main Street North Reading, MA Burlington Obgyn Associates 781-272-4667 101 Cambridge Street Burlington, MA. Your records will continue to be on file at Dowd Medical Associates. To request transfer of your records, please complete a consent for “Authorization to Release Healthcare Information”. It is available on our website, under “forms”. You can email this to or mail it to: Dowd Medical Associates Medical Records 107 Woburn Street Reading, MA 01867. A reasonable fee will be charged to cover the cost of transfer. Records will then be transferred to Nova Women’s Health, Burlington Obgyn Associates or a physician of your choosing. If you wish to find another physician, I suggest that you contact your health plan or the Massachusetts Medical Society customer service line at 781-434-7311 which operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After providing authorization, a copy of your records will be transferred to your new physician. It has been an honor to have served you over the last 30 years, and I wish you all the best for the future. Sincerely, Judith A. Carpentier, MD, FACOG
